We developed this referral-based pricing system to save you money.

We’ve been in business for the better part of a decade, and recently we realized – hey! – 10% of our clients bring us 50% of our business. And most of these folks work for large organizations, with multiple departments ordering from us… yet they still pay the same price as everyone else for each order.

How can we give their entire organization the discount they deserve?

Our answer was to create Umbrella Circles! Now we let our customers combine their entire network, and order as one group.

Imagine all the purchasing power you are combining!!

Then, we got to thinking… the way we got most of those big customers was through a referral from someone in their network – another customer.

How can we give that customer great pricing for such a great referral?

Our answer? Let them join the Circle!

You don’t have to be a huge organization to get the huge organization price. You just have to recommend us to them!

We have known for a long time that word-of-mouth is the best kind of advertising – heck, it’s how we built this company from scratch!

Plus, our founders come from a non-profit and small organization background – it really makes us feel good to be able to offer discounts to the mom and pops orgs – and now we have come up with a way to do it!

When you sign up with us, we will create a unique Umbrella Circle for you. You can easily bring co-workers, other branches of your organization – and even other organizations – into your Umbrella Circle.

I work at a non profit in downtown Oakland and I was tasked with getting some shirts made– fast. Like, not even a week fast. Yelp led me to Umbrella Shirts, which was conveniently located around the corner from my office. I worked mainly with Taylor, who understood that I was on a time crunch and that budget was still a really important factor for me. They gave me really competitive prices and worked with me on how to create the most cost efficient shirts, especially considering how quick they were turning these shirts around for me (I gave them 5 business days and they usually require 10). Then I worked with Ryan for the art and placement. Both of them were really quick to respond to all of my emails and really friendly. The shirts turned out great, too. Really great customer service, which I appreciated since I placed a relatively small order on such short notice. And also because I sent them what seemed like a million emails going back and forth on the design. These are awesome people and I’ll be bringing our business back here again. I also like that they bring their dogs to work with them. The front office area has a lot of cool art to look at, too.

Umbrella shirts offers speedy, quality custom print jobs. They were extremely thoughtful and personable with helping me design my t-shirt on the fly (4 days before I needed it for a community project!). Their website offers a very intuitive t-shirt design application, which I truly appreciate. They were also flexible in getting me a quote that my nonprofit organization’s wallet could handle.
